Bible Study Links

Bible Gateway. This site is like having your own Bible Software. Look up Scriptures in various translations. This site is sometimes difficult to get to because of the heavy traffic. Because of the download time, I still recommend you getting your own Bible Software program. Rating: <>< <>< <>< <><

Logos Research Sytems. Trying to learn about a subject in the Bible. Here it is. Type in a subject that you want to learn, and it'll give you plenty of material for your study. I like to use this program when I'm studying the Bible on my computer. Rating: <>< <>< <>< <><

C.S. Lewis. Journey into an extensive collection about the much-loved English apologist and author. Rating: <>< <>< <><

Biblical Studies Foundation. If you're looking for a new way to dig into the Word, grab a shovel and log in here. You'll find hundreds of Bible studies and research topics on Old and New Testament theology, spiritual life, and history. Rating: <>< <>< <>< <><

The Mustard Seed. This seed is online to help you grow (that's a switch!). The parable of the mustard seed (Matthew 13, Mark 4, Luke 13) is the theme of this site, and it exists to aid you in your spiritual growth. Here you can join a prayer circle, do Bible studies online, find out about online tools, or link to other helpful sites online. This site is a great place to start back at the basics and use the resources that the Lord is providing through the example of the Mustard Seed. Rating: <>< <>< <><

Internet Christian Center. This site was created by Christian Life Center in Grass Valley, CA, to provide useful articles, Bible studies and more to Christian surfers and spiritual seekers. You'll find a nice list of topics to read about, and if you scroll down further you'll find a number of useful search tools. Take a look, it's a good-looking site! Rating: <>< <>< <>< 1/2

Ministry of the Word. This site brings together a number of helpful areas in the Christian community of the 'Net. You can search various versions of the Bible, read articles on different topics, view testimonies for encouragement, click on the daily devotional for inspiration, and more. Well-organized and updated often with new content. Rating: <>< <>< <>< 1/2

Scriptures.com. Find the Word of God in a variety of languages. If you can't view it here online, then you can probably get more information on how to order the language translation you're looking for. Great for ministering to neighbors and co-workers who come from other countries. Rating: <>< <>< <><

The WWW Bible Gateway ? Surf this link and you'll find one of the most useful Bible search tools available on the 'Net today. The Gateway isn't just a place to type in a reference and get a verse. You can search the Scriptures by keywords, phrases, or even search the "What does the Bible say about..." area for answers to specific questions (more than 22,000 topics!). References? Yes, you can still search references. Search different translations and scan the study notes. Rating: <>< <>< <>< <><

Matthew Henry's Commentary What does Matthew Henry have to say about that? Allow me to rephrase that: "What does the Bible say?" The Matthew Henry Concordance is a great tool for finding more information on the background of the passages of the Bible. The search capabilities on the site are clear and quick. It won't take long until you'll be writing out sermons just for the fun of it! Rating: <>< <>< <>< <><

The Four Eleven Foundation Don't confuse this site with the 7-11 down the street. Both are convenient, but only one of these will offer you so much content, it's almost scary. Apparently the 4-11 Foundation was serious when it decided to put up a Web site, because this is a quality place to find notes on any of the highlighted books of the Bible that it lists. You'll also encounter helps with Biblical themes, pastoral resources, and more. If you have a Web browser, surf this! Rating: <>< <>< <>< <><

The Bible Commentary Page If you could sit down with some of the greatest theologians (why I'm not on it I'll never know) and get the thoughts and comments about your favorite passages of the Bible, wouldn't you be excited? Do it now with a click to this site. The navigation is extremely well-organized, and you can quickly access the commentaries on specific books of the Bible, characters, and more here. An excellent site to bookmark! Rating: <>< <>< <>< <><

The National Bible Association, (formerly the Laymen's National Bible Association) was formed in 1940 by business leaders in New York City with the singular purpose of encouraging everyone to read the Bible. They asked me to let you know about their organization. <>< <>< <><
